Overall objective: Promote an efficient and effective cultural heritage management by developing a participatory model in Üsküdar district of Istanbul for endangered local historical and cultural properties, based on awareness raising of district inhabitants, proactive and reactive monitoring
by neighbourhood volunteers, communicating claim notifications to authorities and relevant institutions and tracking results, sharing experience and information, including sharing and implementing EU best practices in cooperation with project partners.
Target Groups: 25 Archaeologists and Art Historians, 500 Primary Schoolchildren, 50 Neighborhood Volunteers, 19 employees of partner organizations.
Content: There are some main activities that are planned to be realized;
*Pre-investigation visits to the partner organizations, project introductory meeting and workshop
*Determination of volunteers and monitoring of the cultural proprieties
*Execution of seminars and workshops with target groups
*Start to collecting data and transferring them to digital platforms through web site
* Technical field visits to the partner organizations
* Closing meeting and publication of closing booklet
